Today In the journal | The humble ‘to do’ list

Take note, literally, writing your to do list before going to sleep could help alleviate worries and anxieties before bed helping you to get to sleep faster and stay asleep.

I already have my copy of Sleepy Jo so I have my custom carved out space right where the things on my mind can be jotted down before I go to bed. But seeing as you haven’t received yours yet (have you ordered?) then I have a bedtime task for you.

This is my 5 minute challenge for you tonight:

Before bed (preferably not in your bedroom)

  1. Grab your favourite notebook
  2. Find a quiet place
  3. Write down at least 5 things that you have ‘to-do’ tomorrow or this week that are on your mind
  4. For every task written give yourself one deep breathe
  5. Now you are ready for bed.. unless you haven’t pre-purchased our Sleepy Jo - sleep journal and planner?? Then go do that, or better yet save yourself the screen time and write it on your to-do list for tomorrow.
